Today was one of those days where I wanted to do nothing. Just lay around like a lazy slob in bed & watch trashy TV. Buttttttt my discipline kicked in: a little voice in my head said ‘get yo ass out of bed & be productive!’ Discipline can be a real bitch.

So. I peeled myself from the fluffy, oh-so-comfortable bed & went to Pilates. I feel soooo much better now ; ).

Sometimes beauty, fitness, etc. is painful! It’s worth it though- in the end feeling good about yourself always wins.

Happy weekend Babes!

‘Gettin it in’ definitely makes a blah day into a good one! Working out has brought so much to my life, and I was definitely one of those people who never thought I would be a lover of exercise. But now? Couldn’t imagine my life without it.

Why does that last picture make me feel super motivated? I want it as wallpaper for a wall in my apartment, haha!

So true! When I feel like watching TV all day and not go to the gym, I always tell myself that I’ll feel sooo good after y wotkout and then I can watch TV the rest of the day – that usually gets my ass to the gym! 🙂

    Hi Lauryn,
I’m loving the blog, it’s very inspiring as a quality lifestyle and fitness blog. This post particularly caught my eye. As a highly dedicated trainer, I believe that the only time that we’re given a free pass to laziness is when we’ve worked our butts off at the gym and have earned a quality rest day.

Check out our blog (http://sayyestorest.wordpress.com) dedicated to promoting the importance of rest and recovery amongst avid exercisers. We’re also on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sayyestorestday and Twitter: http://twitter.com/sayyestorestday so check us out 🙂
