The other night I had a sweet tooth, so I decided to bake a recipe that my friend’s, Mike and Jen, have raved about: apples baked to perfection with a dash of brown sugar and some nutmeg and cinnamon. I sliced up the apples into small, skinny bites. Since it was my first time creating this recipe, I chose three different kinds of apples to try. I picked Granny Smith’s, Fugi’s and Gala’s [ this last took the lead in my book ].
The recipe was the perfect dessert. It was sweet, sour and delicious. The cinnamon’s health benefits are another plus: it boosts the memory, promotes weight loss & contains iron, fiber and calicum. The natural fruit’s sugars were enough to keep me satisfied. These baked apple thins easily take care of any sweet tooth fast.

* Serves about 4 people
6 apples of your choice [ I recommend mixing up different kinds of apples ]
3 teaspoons of cinnamon
A couple dashes of nutmeg
A dash of brown sugar or a dash of Stevia
Preheat oven to 325. Slice apples. Place apple slices on a cookie sheet or clear cooking dish. Sprinkle light brown sugar [ think a teaspoon over all apple slices ], cinnamon and nutmeg. Put in oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool for 5 minutes & have as an after dinner treat!
