Aloe vera isn’t just some boring, crusty houseplant.
Its green leaves have way more benefits than simply acting as home decor.
And in true spirit of this weekend’s super desert-y, festival, Coachella, I’ll be talking about the sexy succulent’s purposes.
Ok. So. Let’s get weird! It’s aloe vera time!!
Why I’m obsessed over aloe:
+ ‘The Sunburn Cure’: I know it’s common knowledge but aloe gel naturally treats sunburns.
+ Immune system: drinking the juice enhances the immune system. If you’re stressed, tired, fatigued, whatever…drink up!
+ Moisturizer: it provides oxygen to cells that build the skin tissues to give off a beautiful, healthy glow.
+ Vitamins & minerals galore {!!!}: oh, ya know. I guess you could say aloe contains some vits & minerals…Cooper, iron, sodium, calcium, zinc, potassium, chromium, magnesium, & manganese! Oh I forgot to mention Vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E, & Folic Acid. Yaaaaa.
+ Acne: it’s know to help cure acne. Yupppp. Buh-bye Proactive.
+ Weight loss: the plant promotes energy & naturally cleans the digestive system. Love!
+ Rash-be-gone: it’s known to alleviate allergic reactions, eczema, burns, inflammations, wounds, & psoriasis.
(( More benefits found here )).
I know, right? Shocking! Go stock up on 100% natural aloe vera gel & juice ASAP.
Peace out.L

Some people blend it and drink it.
I just use it on my skin directly from the plant.

Nice post. I used to be checking constantly this blog and I’m impressed! Very helpful info specially the final phase 🙂 I care for such information a lot. I was seeking this certain info for a very long time. Thanks and best of luck.
When I was in a car accident a few years ago I had an ugly cut on my neck and a big scratch on my face. My physical therapist recommended rubbing aloe vera on my wounds so it would heal faster and not scar. Almost 4 years later, you can not see any scars. 🙂
I was wondering, I haven’t change my diet, medications or anything, all of a sudden in the past 2 weeks my face neck and upper back h e broken out with zits/pimples. Me, being a person who showers daily and uses face was 1-2 times a day am very confused by this. I don’t know what’s going on, I have tried different face washes in the past, and I currently use the clairisonic Mia. I’m not usually a person who ever breaks out, so I thought this was weird. I have been running more lately in the past few weeks so I don’t know if more sweating is causing this or what. What products do you reccomend, what works?
Not only is aloe vera great for the skin, the benefits of FLP stablized aloe vera gel are also known to maintain healthy balance of good bacteria (probiotics) in the intestinal tract, which in turn helps with good digestion, and actually getting the nutritional benefits from the food you eat into your body better. Of course, this is not to suggest that it is a cure or treatment for any disease or symptoms of any disease, in which case you should be consulting your physician.
Great article! I’ve used Aloe vera blended into a juice for a long time. Lately I have started using Aloe arborescens too which is also packed with a ton of health benefits. Here is a blog post that tells you all about it, I think it’s worth checking out.
