To give you a recap: when I first met Tiffany Hendra I was casually stalking YouTube and found her raving about IT Cosmetics CC cream. Obviously you all know that because of Tiffany, IT Cosmetics became on of my ride-or-die beauty products.

Tiffany does it all: TV personality, model, female empowerment coach, entrepreneur, beauty & wellness junkie. Today she is here to share 7 wellness hacks, but more specifically, 7 ways to reduce your EMF exposure. So if you use a cell phone, earbuds or a laptop, this post is for you. LOL, hello everyone.

Are you ready to stop making disempowering choices that are causing you to age faster as well as damage your brain? As we wrap up 2022, it’s vital to look back over your year and assess the areas you want to uplevel in the new year.

Are you aware of the harmful effects of EMF (electromagnetic frequency aka radiation) on your body?

Research is showing it causes higher anxiety, infertility issues, speeds up the aging process due to cellular breakdown, increases cancer and skin cancer rates and is extremely harmful to the brain. As always, do your own research.

Aside from the help of Botox, my wellness protocol and meditation —  women continually ask me how I am aging backwards like ‘Benjamin Button.’ Without a shadow of a doubt, I believe the results-driven modalities for cellular health and EMF protection have transformed my overall cellular rejuvenation which in turn, slows the aging process.

Here are 7 hacks I’ve integrated into my own life and continue to experience healing, vitality and transformation. My energy and mental clarity is better now than when I was 35.

Remember, the decisions you make today affects how you look and feel in 10, 15, 20 years from now!

♡ GROUNDING/EARTHING MAT

If you work and (scroll a lot) on the phone and laptop, it’s crucial to get grounded. Technology emits EMF radiation that interferes with our body’s’ natural frequencies (yes, we are electrical beings) and can cause many negative health and cognitive issues. Nature has the remedy and if you walk barefoot on grass for just 5 -10 minutes you will become more energetically balanced. But getting to a clean patch of grass if you live in a metropolitan city may be a challenge.

When I was healing from Melanoma surgery and high inflammation, my holistic doc recommended I get a grounding mat for working on the computer.  I actually sit on it every morning while I meditate with the laptop or iPad nearby playing meditation music. If you pay close attention, you may feel tingling in your hands and arms from overuse of cellular devices. I’m super sensitive to 5G so I continue to research the ways I can protect myself.

♡ EMF PROTECTIVE BLANKET / PONCHO

Another easy and comfy way to protect yourself and your little ones from harmful EMF is with a protective blanket that doubles as a poncho or shawl. I wear mine when I have a heavy day of social media posting and editing videos on my cell phone. It’s also great for travel and in overpopulated airports full of people using cell phones and WiFi.

I love this Australian made brand Radia Smart blanket made from premium baby-soft organic cotton lined with the reliable protection of silver. They even have belly covers for mamas-to-be, beanies and nursing blankets. Reminder, if you have babies and small children, it’s important to keep your cell phone and devices away from their developing heads.

♡ GROUNDED EARBUDS

Many of you won’t like hearing this, but I beg of you, please throw away those Air Pods!!! I know, I know – they are convenient and everyone uses them. But you are putting that harmful radiation directly into your head.

Do you notice being more foggy, anxious, forgetful and you may get a headache after a day with your Air Pods in for hours?  Using “grounded” earbuds and headphones with wires dramatically reduces the amount of EMF to the brain. We are becoming more knowledgeable about the positive effects of meditation and certain frequencies of music. But we negate it all by not protecting ourselves from EMF.

Simply go back to the old school white wire earbuds that come with your cell phone or opt for a version with even greater protection like the DefenderShield EMF Radiation-Free Earbuds Air Tube Stereo Headphones or their radiation-free over the ear headphones.

When we use Bluetooth and wireless headphones — in addition to our computers and cell phones and even microwave ovens — they emit a specific type of nonionizing (or low-level) EMF called radio frequency radiation (RFR).

In 2011 the International Agency for Research on Cancer classified this type of radiation as possibly carcinogenic to humans. This classification was based on an increased risk of glioma, a type of brain cancer, related to cell phone use. (Healthline)

Call me crazy, but yes, touching the leaves of plants is very grounding.

When we learned about this while living in West Hollywood, we had a Saturday ritual of driving down to Santa Monica to walk the beach. But, we are landlocked here in Dallas now. So it’s important to book Halotherapy treatments at a wellness spa or at minimum, take weekly Himalayan pink salt and Epsom baths. Supposedly, a 10-15 minute treatment in a salt booth is equivalent to the negative ions you would get from a week long vacay at the beach! What??

Oh and that pretty salt lamp in your bedroom is not just for looks and ambience.

Though there is not sufficient data showing the level of benefit from the ions emitting from a salt lamp, my husband and I noticed a difference after we placed one in every room in the house.  Maybe it’s psychological, but it can’t hurt, plus the golden light is definitely a mood calmer.

Cheers to empowering, loving and protecting yourself. We can chat about all these methods and modalities. But if you do not take action and implement aka walk the talk, you may just be in the same place, with the same (or declining) health this time — next year. YIKES! Wellness begins with self-love and appreciation. It’s about looking in the mirror and appreciating the woman looking back at you.

  2. Great suggestions – thank you, Tiff! I added salt lamps to our home a couple of years ago and also feel it makes a difference. Now to get my guys read on to the concerns with those wireless headphones/ear buds.
    Looks like I’ll be checking out the Conscious Copper offerings and making a Mother’s Day wishlist. 😉
