Easter madness is over & I’m freaking pooped.

Ya. Pooped.

Even though Easter was super fun ( I mean, who the hell doesn’t like fresh Bellinis on a Sunday? ), I’m glad to get back on track today.

& naturally Monday roared it’s usual ugly, bitchy head…( but extra bitchy because yesterday was a holiday. Boo. ). So today was jammed pack from start to finish but now I’m feeling ready for tomorrow. Monday’s e-mail load was comparable to the Post Office truck dumping all its envelopes/package on my face— fun times, fun times.

So this picture is of Karen ( Michael’s aunt ), Michael, & I. His birthday was two weeks ago & I gave this to him as a gift. The painting is of him & I on Halloween, dressed as creepy skeletons painted by Karen ( << how amazing is she?! ). Anyway, I gifted it to him yesterday; check it out:

Ok, back to Easter: we spent the day between Michael’s parent’s house & my parent’s house. We enjoyed lots of sunshine, lox/bagels, peach tea, & family. It was nice to kick back & relax without a computer ( WTF’s a girl to do without a comp? Yikes! ).

How did you enjoy your Sunday? Any special plans?

xx. le

  1. I spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday doing Kundalini Yoga as part of a Teacher Training. It was non-stop from 5.00 till 9.00. The retreat was beautiful so despite the busy schedule I could recharge fully. Yesterday I relaxed and today I’ll have to move again.

  2. Love your dress so boho chic 🙂 You def stay true to your style and that is what I love about your blog! Happy Easter and what a beautiful painting, I got one made using Etsy of my husband and I for our first year married anniversary! Lots of Love to You C

    1. You’re so sweet! Can I just say you’re seriously such an amazing reader : ). I love reading all your comments & you’re always so positive. You seem like a rad chick, Courtney! Keep doing what you’re doing. xx. Lauryn

  3. Wow, that painting is strange but beautiful.

My husband and I enjoyed a City Easter in the Bay Area, in which we actually had moderate temperatures. It was lovely. We also visited one of the oldest and largest churches in the City and enjoyed some incredible people watching, fancy ladies, big hats, hipsters, you name it. 🙂

  4. Um that painting is so awesome! What a great idea for a gift!

And agreed … who doesn’t love a peach bellini on a Sunday!?

  5. I love the simplicity and elegance of your Easter brunch! Bellinis and bagels with lox sounds so fabulous. Who needs some elaborate spread, causing stress and a busy, non-relaxing, morning filled with prep!? Love these little mini posts 🙂

  6. omgosh those strappy sandals are to die, are they the same ones listed?? Those ones didn’t have straps. 🙁 Obsessing.

  7. Lauryn, that dress is killer. You make me want to buy everything you wear.

Peach bellinis were not in our Easter plans this year, but my how I wish they were!
