Today model/singer, Kayslee Collins is sharing all her tips for staying fit, sexy, & healthy! Not only is she a gorg Brandy Melville model, she’s absolutely delightful & adorable. I love her take on healthy eating- it’s right to the point: “eat small, healthy portions, often.”
I hope that after reading this interview it’s clear that being fit isn’t rocket science!

Ok, now lemme introduce you to this totally healthy, sun-kissed babe:
+ Introduce yourself.
I am a twenty two year old female from San Diego, CA. I am fortunate enough to have modeling as my profession. I sing & write music as well. Music is my passion, but modeling is something I will always love. I also adore the beach, yoga class, spending time with my family, & bubble baths. I like to go to bed early, & curl up to a nice inspirational book or a glass of wine. I have an obsession with zodiac signs & I absolutely love music. I live a beautiful life & I work very hard for it.
My career is very important to me! I’m very independent, with very few friends. Two of those friends are my older sisters, whom I’m extremely close to. I am coming out with a new single in May 2013 on my independent label I’m signed to. I hope to someday share my music with the world, & inspire. I try to live my life extremely positive! I live my life with passion, dedication, & I’m a firm believer of ‘you get what you give.’ : )
+ Quick skinny trick?
Stay hydrated! I always drink tons of water. Also eat small, healthy portions, often.
+ If you had to do a bikini shoot in a week, how would you prepare?
I would do my CorePower yoga class daily. I would also eat healthy, & cut out bread. I usually stay away from sweets too. Water, water, water! Always.

+ Weekly workout schedule?
I take a heated yoga class ( Vinyasa flow) at least five times a week. I love it because the routine is always changing. So your body never knows what to expect. Usually the days I don’t make it to yoga I’ll go on a long hike!
+ Favorite go-to healthy food?
Greek yogurt, trail mix, bananas, & a chopped salad.
+ Motivation to stay in shape?
Obviously in the modeling industry you need to stay active and in shape. Eating healthy, & staying active makes me feel sexier. I am constantly putting on bikinis, and lingerie in front of a camera. I try to keep a steady routine so I always feel in control. I have also learned that exercise makes me happier & stress free!
+ Best beauty product?
I love Moroccanoil.
+ Natural beauty remedy?
From what I’ve learned sleep is the best way to stay fresh, and healthy.
I try to get at least eight hours of sleep every single night.
+ Cocktail of choice?
I usually go with a glass of wine!
+ Secret model tip for diet and health?
I think water is really important. Also, find that exercise you personally love. Everyone is different! Go experiment & try different things.
Try to eat more greens, nuts, and fruits!
If you cheat one day…IT’S OKAY! Don’t beat yourself up.
+ Outfits you’re dying over?:
I have a few different sides to my style. But one thing I am pretty consistent with is staying comfortable, while still feeling sexy. I love to wear black with a great red lip. I also love a long boho dress with sandals in the summertime- I’m a beach girl from San Diego. Some of my favorites:

+ Quick, easy recipe:
Strawberry asparagus salad
1 head romaine lettuce–chopped
1/2 bag of baby spinach leaves
1 bundle of asparagus, steamed & chilled then cut
1 pint of strawberries, sliced
1/3 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Add some grilled chicken for some protein!
Directions: layer ingredients in a large bowl. Toss & enjoy!
