Each Halloween I honestly consider handing out organic red apples to trick-or-treaters. Too much? Nah.

I mean…is it so awful that I’m looking out for their health/teeth?! Geez.

Ok, ok, enjoy some candy tonight…but at least eat the fun-sized version?

If we’re talking candy, my ultimate favie is frozen gummy bears [ remember this post? ]. Any gummy gets me. These Trader Joe-bought, ghoulie tummies are spooktacular, delish, and they’re made with real fruit [ & w/o sickie preservatives ]. So. Why freeze them? Because they’re hard to chew. When you’re watching a movie, shoving gummy’s in you mouth, you end up overeating. Welllll, if they’re frozen, the ghouls take way longer to eat. Chewy bitches. Ta-da.

Other options: throw the frozen, creepy crawlers in a vodka martini, a glass of bubbly, or freeze them in ice cube trays [ like this ].

Happy Halloween Lovers- get creepy…; )

Supppp Halloween!!!— many of you babes are going out tomorrow night to party, get spooky, & dance to the “Monster Mash”.

I’m gonna to go out on a whim here & take a wild guess: most of your sexy costumes are belly bearing, supa short shorts, or revealing in some way.

Shocker!

But hey, get cray- Halloween only comes around once a year! Anyway, here’s some tips + tricks for looking extra hot on the sluttiest creepiest holiday of the year…

Hot & Sexy Halloween Tips:

+ Drink up. Since you’re bound to be out late, enjoying a few cocktails, make sure to prep yourself before you wreck yourself. Guzzle this natural hot lemon diuretic before going out. If I bare my legs/belly/etc., I’ll drink this in the AM & PM. This lemon diuretic flushes out the system, which takes away bloat. Think of it as a ‘mini cleanse.’

+ Tan. Spray tanning makes everything look better. If you do it right. Stay away from anything with red undertones. Think bronzed  & sun-kissed, not Oompa-Loompa, Snooki orange. Find more tanning tips here.

+ Eat. Before going out on the town, eat a piece of low-carb toast with soy butter or avocado, cottage cheese & fruit, or scrambled eggs. If you’re drinking, these types of foods will help absorb the alcohol.

+ Light on the carbs & sugar. For the day [ & maybe the day before ] cut your carb intake in half. Also get rid of any processed sugars & ditch the salt. Too much salt can make people appear ten pounds heavier.

+ Vodka/water. If you’re wearing a revealing outfit, the best alcoholic beverage on the planet is vodka/water + three lemons. It’s light & has no bloating soda water in it.

+ Lotion. Wear firming lotion. It tightens everything up & make your limbs look smooth and sleek. My favorite: Olay’s Quench Plus Firming Body Lotion.

+ Shimmer. Adding a bit of bronzed shimmer to the abs makes them sparkle lightly. If you’re wearing a crop top, use a makeup brush to apply sparingly. I die over this bronzer/shimmer.

+ Workout. Yeup, yeup, yeup. Make time for fitness. People look way more toned after a workout.

+ Posture: throw your shoulders back & stand tall. Evoke your inner sex kitten {!!!}.

These pictures are from Halloween 2011 [ I was an indian chief ] & 2010 [ Tom Cruise from Risky Business { p.s. the cig is prop!!! } ]. And naturally, Pixy Bean was a watermelon. Hope everyone enjoys their Halloween- cheers!

What time is it in Cali? LOL. No, really. I’m exhausted.

We’re in Florida working a trade show for NBAA [ last year's post can be found here ] & each day we’re in full work mode- work, eat, work, work, workout, read, work, blog, work, wine, work. Fun shit.

For anyone who works trade shows on the reg: how do you eat healthy? It’s HARD. There’s very little options. Luckily I came prepared with snacks.

Even though it’s exhausting after the show, I try to squeeze in an hour on the Elliptical..because getting the endorphins going feels so much better than laying around like a lazy slob. Right?!
